Formation of Papiers A. Paviot, with Auguste, who comes from a family of silk printers. The company sets up in Rue Vieille Monnaie (Rue René Leynaud) in Lyon.
The business starts with the manufacture of paper bags for seed producers, greengrocers and herbalists and packaging paper for the catering professions.

The second son, also called Auguste, becomes manager after the accidental death of his father and develops the company's defining product: food packaging.

The company moves to Rue Michel Mérieux in Gerland, and in so doing doubles the surface area of its premises.

Jacques, son of Aimé and part of the fourth generation, chairman and managing director since 1972, creates the Corbas factory, which marks the changes in its business with the introduction of new technical paper materials for food and industrial uses which are revolutionary in terms of preservation and performance.

Alexandre, son of Jacques, takes the reins of the company.
A growth policy is adopted based on innovation and the creation of new products.
Significant growth of exports. Today present in more than fifteen countries, mainly in Europe but also in North America and the Middle East.

Expansion of the Corbas plant to allow production capacities to increase and to satisfy HACCP requirements. Developing the industrial stock makes it possible to install six new production machines, and a washing and ink and water treatment system.

Papiers Paviot takes over Auvergne Impression compagny, based near Aurillac (Cantal) which is specialized in the light papers and aluminium complexes (foie gras, chocolate, butter..) in order to extand his range of food packagings.
